Setting up a marketing stage

Ajera automatically sets up common, industry-standard marketing stages.

You can set up, change, or delete marketing stages to reflect the typical steps of the business-development process at your firm.

To set up a marketing stage

1. From the > Setup menu, click General > Marketing Stages.
2. Place the cursor one row above where you want the new marketing stage.
3. Click the New button.
4. In the Description field, type the name of the marketing stage.
5. In the Long Description field, type a long, more descriptive name for the marketing stage. This description appear on the > Manage > Project Command Center> Project Info tab > Business Development subtab > Stages subtab.
6. Click Save. The marketing stage appears in a row below the cursor. To move it, click the row and click or . The order of the marketing stages reflects the sequence of the business-development efforts at your firm. This order appears on the > Manage > Project Command Center> Project Info tab > Business Development subtab > Stages subtab.
