Change a Vision Plan to a Vision Navigator Plan

You can change a Vision plan to a Vision Navigator plan. You must then use Navigator to update the plan, and save and publish the plan back to Vision. After you publish, data is shared and both systems display the same plan information. You must make subsequent updates in Navigator; data synchronizes automatically between Navigator and Vision.

To change a Vision plan to a Navigator plan, complete the following steps:

1. Open a project in Vision Navigator and click the Planning tab. The Actions button displays. This button changes colors to indicate the state of the plan. For example, the button is gray and displays No plan exists when there is no plan created for the current project.
2. Click the Actions button to open the Actions menu.
3. Check the plan indicator to confirm that the plan's status is Vision plan.
4. Click Convert to Navigator. When the plan is converted, any non-labor planned values in Vision are removed from the Navigator plan.
