Main Tab of the Create Client from Vendor Form

Use the Main tab to select the vendor records that you want to convert to client records. You can merge vendor records into existing client records or you can create new client records.

Field Description
Lookup/Insert Click this option to open the Vendor lookup. Select the vendor records that you want to convert to client records and click OK. Vision inserts the vendor records on the grid.
Insert Click this option to insert a new blank row on the grid.
Delete Select the vendor record that you want to remove from the grid and click this option. Vision removes the record from the grid, but does not remove the record from the Vision database.
Vendor Enter the name of the vendor that you want to convert or click and select a vendor from the Vendor lookup.
Name This field displays the name of the vendor, as entered on the General tab of the Vendor Info Center.
New Client Select this option for Vision to convert the vendor record to a new client record. When you select New Client, Vision disables the Existing Client field.
Existing Client Use the this field to display the Client lookup and select the client record into which you want to merge the vendor record.
