Select Color Dialog Box

Use the Select Color dialog box to select the color of a control's background, border, and text.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Vision title bar, click Options > Display Settings.
  2. On the Display Settings dialog box, click any tab.
  3. Click Select Color.

Field Description
Color Palette Click a color on the color palette. A tool tip with the preview of the color as well as its Red, Green, and Blue component values displays when you hover your mouse over the color palette. When you click the color, the selected color displays in the Current field.
Current This field displays the color that you selected on the color palette. The displayed color changes when you click another color on the color palette or when any values in the Red, Green, and Blue fields change.
Previous This field displays the color that is actively in use.
Red, Green, Blue

You can modify the red, green, and blue components of a color by completing one of the following actions:

  • Click a color on the color palette.

  • Manually enter a numeric value.

  • Use the up and down buttons to select the numeric value.

The Current field updates to reflect your entry.
