Planned Hours Dialog Box

Use the Planned Hours dialog box to see a summary of an employee's planned hours, if the employee is assigned to project plans in the Project Planning application.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

From the Vision Navigation menu, perform either of the following actions:
  • Click Time & Expense > Timesheet.

    Open a timesheet for which you want to view benefit hours, and on the Timesheet toolbar, click Show > Planned Hours.

  • Click Time & Expense > Absence Requests.

    On the Absence Requests form, click the Planned Hours button.

Field Description
Description This field displays the description of the immediate parent of the assigned resource.
Project This field displays the project number for the project to which the employee was assigned as a resource.
Phase This field displays the phase number for the phase to which the employee was assigned as a resource.
Task This field displays the task number for the task to which the employee was assigned as a resource.
Labor Code This field displays the labor code for the assigned resource.
Start Date This field displays the date on which the employee's assignment began.
End Date This field displays the date on which the employee's assignment ended or the date on which the assignment is scheduled to end.
Planned Hours This field displays the total number of hours the employee has been assigned as a resource on the project.
JTD Hours This field displays the number of hours the employee has actually charged to the project.
Remaining Hours This field displays the number of planned hours remaining for which the employee is assigned as a resource on the project (Planned Hours - Job-to-Date Hours).
Planned Hours this Period When this dialog box is opened from the Timesheet application, this field displays the number of hours for which the employee is an assigned resource in the current timesheet period. This amount may be prorated, if the assigned hours overlap timesheet periods. The prorated hours are based on the number of working days in the timesheet period.

When this dialog box opens from the Absence Requests application, this field displays the number of hours for the months that are displayed in the three-month calendar view on the Absence Requests form.
