Unit Quantities Tab of the Timesheet Form

Use the Unit Quantities tab to enter unit transactions on your timesheet for work groups, equipment, or other assets.

The Units Quantities tab displays on the Timesheet form only under the following conditions:

  • Enable unit quantities feature is selected on the Setup Tab of Company Timesheet Configuration.

  • Allow employee to charge units in timesheet is selected on the Time tab of the Employee Info Center.

Vision automatically updates the Unit Quantities tab with any project/phase/task combination already existing on the Timesheet Hours tab, under the following conditions:

  • The project/phase/task combination does not already exist on the Unit Quantities tab.

  • Hours were entered for that project/phase/task combination on the Timesheet Hours tab.

Vision doesn't copy Special Categories to the Unit Quantities tab. This copy process does not work in reverse: a project/phase/task line entered on the Unit Quantities tab is not copied to the Timesheet Hours tab.
