Open Another Employee's Timesheet

If you have Group, Company, or System access to the Timesheet application, you can open another employee's timesheet.

To open another employee's timesheet, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Time and Expense > Timesheet.
  2. On the Timesheet Period Selection dialog box, select the timesheet period that you want to open.
  3. Optional. Select the Automatically default to current period at startup option.

    If you select this option, Vision does not display the Timesheet Period Selection dialog box when you open the Timesheet application. Instead, Vision automatically opens your timesheet for the current period.

  4. Click OK.

    Vision opens your timesheet for the period selected.

  5. Click Employees > Select Employees.

    Vision displays the Select Employee Timesheet dialog box. By default, the dialog box lists all employee timesheets (for the selected labor period) to which you have access, as well as the status of those timesheets.

  6. Optional. To change the timesheets displayed, complete one of the following actions:
    • Use the Labor Period Ending drop-down list to display timesheets for a different labor period.

    • Use the Group drop-down list to display timesheets for a specific employee group.

    • Clear the option in the Status Totals section for any timesheet status that you do not want to display.

  7. To open a timesheet or set of timesheets, complete one of the following actions:
    • To open a single timesheet, click the grid row that contains the employee timesheet that you want to open, then click Select.

    • To open all timesheets displayed on the grid, click Select All. Use the navigation buttons below the Timesheet toolbar to scroll through the timesheets.
