Expense Report Alerts

Your system administrator can configure Vision to notify approvers when expense reports are submitted for processing.

If you are using the Expense Report Line Item Approval feature, your system administrator can also configure Vision to notify principals, project managers, and/or supervisors when users charge expenses to their projects and to notify users when line items are rejected by an approver.

You set up Expense Report Alerts in Configuration > General > Alerts.

When you set up Expense Report Alerts, you specify:

  • Who should receive alerts

  • When alerts should be sent

  • How alerts should be sent (e-mail and/or dashboard)

  • What message to include in the alert e-mail
