Review or Print a Transaction List for Timesheets from Time & Expense

If you are using Vision Time & Expense, you can use the Timesheets tab of the Transaction Lists form to view details about employee timesheets.

If your firm uses the Deltek First Vision Essentials cloud version of Vision, the Print option is not available. You can preview reports onscreen and then print the reports from the Preview window.

To view employee detail, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Transaction Center > Transaction Lists.
  2. On the Transaction Lists form, click the Timesheets tab.
  3. In the Period Ending field, select the end date of the period for which you want to view data on the Transaction List report.
  4. In the Group field, select the employee group whose timesheets you want to review.

    On the grid, click a column heading to sort the list in ascending order. Click again to sort the list in descending order.

  5. In the Line Item Approval field, select the line item approval setting, such as Partial or Complete.
  6. In the grid, select the employee files to include in the Transaction List report.

    To select more than one employee, press the SHIFT key and click sequential employees or press the CTRL key and click non-sequential employees. Click Select All to include all employees in the transaction list report.

  7. On the Transaction List form toolbar, click the Transaction list option, and select one of the print or preview options in the drop-down menu.
