Toolbar of the Transaction Posting Form

Use the toolbar options to post or schedule transaction files and print or preview transaction lists.

Field Description
Post On the Transaction Posting form, select transactions files to post, and then click Post to post the transaction files immediately.
Schedule You can schedule transaction files to post at a later date and time. On the Transaction Posting form, select transactions files to post at a later time, and then click Schedule to select options on the Schedule dialog box.
Transaction List If your firm uses the Deltek First Vision Essentials cloud version of Vision, the print options for transaction lists are not available. You can preview lists onscreen and then print them from the Preview window.

Select one of the following options:

  • Print — Print a file to your default printer using the Print Transaction List dialog box.
  • Preview — Preview a file on screen before you print it.
  • Print - Errors Only — Print a file to your default printer using the Print Transaction List dialog box. This file includes errors for the current transaction batch.
  • Preview - Errors Only — Preview a file on screen before you print it. This file includes errors for the current transaction batch.
  • Show Report Options — Select this option to change the layout (such as margins, font, and so on) and the title of the transaction list before you preview it. After you select Preview on the Transaction Posting form, a Transaction List dialog box displays and you can change the layout.
  • Print - Unapproved Line Items — This applies only for timesheets. Print a file to your default printer from the Print Transaction List dialog box. This file includes unapproved line items for the current transaction batch.
  • Preview - Unapproved Line Items — This applies only for timesheets. Preview a file on screen before printing. This file includes unapproved line items for the current transaction batch.
Delete Click this option to delete a selected transaction entry from Transaction Posting as well as Transaction Entry.
Help Click this option to display help specific to Transaction Posting.
