Checklist: When You Win the Contract

You may find it helpful to review the general steps to follow when you make the transition from a proposed plan to an "active" plan (one for which you have a signed contract).

Check Plan Dates

Check the plan's start and end dates. Use the General tab of Project Planning if you need to change them.

Check Calendar Configuration

Check that your settings on the Accordion Calendar Format dialog box are still valid. In particular, make sure that the End Date for the plan encompasses the latest known end date for all plan elements.

Update the Probability Setting

Update your plan's Probability field on the General tab of the Opportunity Info Center to 100 (%).

Change Generic Resources to Named Resources

In your plan, change generic resources to named resources wherever possible.

Map the Plan

If you want to report actuals, map the WBS elements of the plan to the corresponding records in the Vision Info Center.

Set the Baseline

You can have a single baseline version for the current plan.
