Print or Preview the Revenue Generation Transaction List

After you run Revenue Generation, you can generate this report to see each adjustment that will be made to the Unbilled Revenue (401.00) and Unbilled Services (121.00) account when you post the RevGen file.

The Revenue Generation Transaction List shows only the projects that have an adjustment in the RevGen file file. The report shows a project's revenue method, the job-to-date revenue amount from before the new accrued revenue amount, and the total job-to-date revenue. If a project has revenue data for its phases or tasks, the report shows the project's data at all levels.

Review the accrued revenue amounts in this report to ensure that they are correct before you post the RevGen file.

Warning: Deltek recommends that you not change the data in the RevGen file. For more information on the adjustments shown in the Journal Entry Transaction List, please contact Deltek Global Support.

To print or preview the Revenue Generation Transaction List, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, select Transaction Center > Transaction Lists.
  2. In the Transaction Type field on the Transaction Lists form, select Revenue Generation.
  3. On the toolbar, click Transaction List and select Print or Preview.
  4. If you find an adjustment on the Revenue Generation Transaction List that you think is not correct, complete the following steps:
    1. Determine which project data is causing the adjustment to be incorrect. Consider data for the project's revenue method; the revenue method calculation, if it is user-defined; the Multiplier; Compensation; or any other data that you think has an effect on the amount of revenue accrued for the project.
    2. Change the data for that project as necessary.
    3. Rerun Revenue Generation with the project selected.
