Zoom In on a Part of a Visualization Map

To review a specific portion of a visualization map more closely, you can zoom in on the inner blocks for a group when you have two or more levels of grouping. You can also zoom in on a single block if you only have one grouping level. In that case, zooming enlarges the block to make it easier to read, an effect similar to that of the Magnify option.

To zoom in on a group, complete the following steps:

  1. Right-click the group on which you want to zoom in.
  2. On the shortcut menu, click Zoom In.
  3. To zoom back out, do either of the following:
    • To zoom out partially, right-click anywhere in the map, and click Zoom Out on the shortcut menu.

    • To display the visualization map as it was originally displayed, right-click anywhere in the map, and click Zoom Out Full.

An alternative way to zoom in (if you cannot locate the group in the visualization map, for example) is to click in the bottom part of the field for the grouping category (the field to the right of the Grouping field), select the group from the drop-down list, and click OK.
