Timesheet Audit Detail General Tab

Use the General tab to select report options for the Timesheet Audit Detail report and to save sets of options for reuse.

Field Description
Report Name You can leave the report name as is or enter a name of your own choosing in this field.
Create Activity To create activities in the Calendar/Activities application when you generate the report, select this check box. When you generate the report, Vision displays the Activity dialog box so you can enter the activity information. Vision then creates an activity for each employee included on the report.
Report Format

To generate a compact version of the report, select Summarized.

To generate a more detailed version of the report, select Detailed. The detailed version displays work breakdown structure element names, such as project names, along with the numbers. You also have the option to include timesheet comments and client names.

Time Frame

To generate a report that displays individual employee timesheets for a single timesheet period, select Timesheet Period Ending and select the period in the associated field.

To generate a report that displays individual employee timesheets for each period in a range of timesheet periods, select Timesheet Period Ending Range and select the beginning and ending periods in the two associated fields.

Include Timesheet Comments

Select this option to display comments from timesheets.

This option is only available if you select Detailed under Report Format.

Include Signed/Approved Select this option to display the names of the employees who signed the timesheet and approved the timesheet.
Include Client Name on Detail Report

Select this option to display the name of the client associated with each timesheet row.

This option is only available if you select Detailed under Report Format.

Include Employee Organization Select this option to display the employee's organization.
Include Revisions

Select this option to display all audited revisions to timesheets for employees for whom revision auditing is enabled.

This option is only available if timesheet revision auditing is enabled for your company on the Company Timesheet Configuration form (Configuration > Time and Expense > Company Timesheet).

Include Revision Explanation

If you select Include Revisions and also want to display the explanations entered for the revisions, select this option.

This option is only available if timesheet revision auditing is enabled for your company on the Company Timesheet Configuration form (Configuration > Time and Expense > Company Timesheet) and if you select Include Revisions.

Include Timesheet Units Quantities

Select this option to display unit quantities entered on timesheets.

This option is only available if Enable unit quantities feature is selected for the company on the Company Timesheet Configuration form (Configuration > Time and Expense > Company Timesheet).

Timesheet Status to Include

To filter the report based on timesheet status, click and, on the lookup, select the statuses that you want to include.

If this field is blank, the report does not exclude any timesheets based on status.

Only Include Timesheets for Projects

To filter the report to display only timesheets that contain time for specific projects, click and, on the Project Lookup dialog box, select the projects that you want to include.

The project filter is only used to select the timesheets. It does not filter the timesheet detail. For the included timesheets, the report displays detail for all projects.

If you filter by project, the report sorts and groups timesheets by project, with a page break between projects. and then by employee and timesheet period for each project. If you do not filter by project, the report sorts and groups timesheets by employee and timesheet period, with no page breaks.
