Select a Filter Mode for a Visualization Map

When you filter a visualization map in the Visualization window based on the color metric or size metric, Vision removes the blocks that you filter out. How that occurs depends on the filter mode you select.

You can select the filter mode before or after you filter the map, and you can switch back and forth between modes to view the filter results in both ways.

To select the filter mode, complete the following steps:

1. Right-click anywhere in the visualization map.
2. On the pop-up menu, click Filter Mode. The submenu displays a check mark next to the current mode.
3. Select one of the following options:
   • If you want Vision to remove blocks that are filtered out but leave blank spaces where they were located in the map, select Ghost.
   • If you want Vision to remove blocks that are filtered out and rearrange and resize the remaining blocks to fill the map, select Compact.
