Employee Labor Audit General Tab

Use the General tab to select report options for the Employee Labor Audit report and to save sets of options for reuse.

Field Description
Report Name You can change the default report name.
Create Activity To create activities in the Calendar/Activities application when you generate the report, select this check box. When you generate the report, Vision displays the Activity dialog box so you can enter the activity information. Vision then creates an activity for each employee included on the report.
Time Frame Specify the period for the report:

Period

Select a setting from the drop-down list:

  • Current — The report shows data for the accounting period that is currently open.
  • Year-to-date — The report shows data for the current fiscal year through the current accounting period.
  • Job-to-date — The report shows data from the beginning of the project through the current accounting period.

Period Range

Specify a range of accounting periods. You can select accounting periods from the drop-down lists, or you can enter them in mm/yyyy format.

Date Range

Enter the start and end dates of the range, or click the calendar icons and select the dates.

Timesheet Period Ending

Specify one or a range of timesheet periods. To generate the report for one timesheet period, select the same period in both range fields.

Transaction Type Click in this field and select the transaction types that you want to include on the report. You can include any or all of the following:
  • Timesheet transactions (either from timesheets entered in the Time module or from data entry timesheets)
  • Labor adjustments
  • Billing labor transfers
Project Lookup To generate the report for selected projects, click and select the projects on the Project Lookup. This option restricts the transactions on the report to those associated with the selected projects.
Report at Select one of the following:
  • Billing — Vision calculates amounts based on billing rates. This option is only available if you are using Vision Billing and if Reporting at billing rates is selected in Configuration.
  • Cost — Vision calculates amounts based on cost rates.
  • Burden — Vision calculates amounts based on burdened cost rates. This option is only available if Reporting at burdened rates is selected in Configuration.
Report Cost in If you use the Multicurrency feature and you select Cost or Burden in the Report at field, select the currency in which you want the report to display amounts:
  • Employee's functional currency
  • Project's functional currency
  • Project currency

If you select Billing in Report at, this option is disabled. Instead, the Use billing currency not Project currency check box on the Reporting tab of Accounting System Settings determines the currency:

  • When Use billing currency not Project currency is selected, the report uses the project's billing currency.
  • When Use billing currency not Project currency is not selected, the report uses the project currency.
