Change the Range of Values to Which the Color Gradient Applies on the Options Dialog Box

In the Options dialog box for a visualization, you can change the range of values to which the color gradient applies. (You can also change the range of values in the Visualization window.)

To change the range of values to which the color gradient applies, complete the following steps:

  1. In the Reports grid, click the Options column for the visualization.
  2. Click to display the Options dialog box.
  3. Click the Metrics tab.
  4. In the row for the metric for which you want to change the color gradient range, select Manual in the Color Shading grid column.
  5. In the High Color Value grid column, enter the metric value that you want to represent with the pure high color.

All values higher than the value you enter are also represented by the pure high color.

  6. In the Low Color Value grid column, enter the metric value that you want to represent with the pure low color.

All values lower than the value you enter are also represented by the pure low color.

  7. Repeat this procedure for each metric for which you want to enter high and low color values.
  8. Click Apply.
  9. Generate the visualization map.
