Change the Base Colors on the Visualization Window

After you display a visualization map, you can change the base colors used for high values, low values, center values, and outlier values in the Visualization window. (You can also change the base colors in the Options dialog box for the visualization.)

To change the base colors for metrics on the Visualization window, complete the following steps:

  1. If the size and color sliders are not displayed in the Visualization window, select Show slider and load setting controls on the General tab in the Options dialog box and regenerate the visualization map.
  2. Make sure that the metric for which you want to change colors is selected in the Color field.
  3. With the color slider (the bottom slider), do any or all of the following:
    • To change the color for lower metric values, click the left color marker and select the color you want.

    • To change the color for center metric values, click the center color marker and select the color you want.

    • To change the color for higher metric values, click the right color marker and select the color you want.

    • To change the color for low outliers, click the colored square above the left end of the slider and select the color. Click the colored square above the right end of the slider to change the color for high outliers.
