Cost Distribution Tab of Purchase Order Line Detail Dialog Box

Use the Cost Distribution tab to specify the project, at its lowest level of work breakdown structure, to which to charge the cost of the item that is selected on the Line Items tab of Purchase Orders. The cost distribution that you specify here is used for the selected item in place of the usual data on the purchase order's Default Distribution tab.

Vision uses a line item's cost distribution to calculate its committed expense. You can also use this grid to specify whether the item's cost is billable. If it is, you can view the committed expense at billing rates.

If the line item is an inventory item, its row in this grid displays data from the Inventory Common Project.
