Project Fields Based on an Opportunity and a Project Template

When you create a new project from an opportunity and project template, Vision provides initial values for the appropriate fields on the project record, based on the values in the project template. Vision then updates the project fields with values from the opportunity.

If there are project defaults specified in General Configuration, those default entries override the settings on the project template.
