Deltek Vision Merge Codes Dialog

Use the Deltek Vision Merge Codes dialog box to select Vision tables and fields for an Info Center to include in the presentation template.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. In PowerPoint, click the Add-Ins tab, click Deltek Vision on the toolbar, and click Create Template.
  2. Select the Info Center, and click Create Template.

Field Description
Table Select the database table to include in the presentation. The tables that display vary depending on the Info Center selected (Client, Contact, Project, Opportunity).
Field Select a field from the table to include in the presentation. The fields that display vary depending on the table selected.
Format If the field selected has formatting options, select the format you want. For example, for a date field, you can select Short Date, m/d/yy, mm/dd/yy, and so on.
Field Options: Preceding Text Enter any standard text that you want to display before this field on the presentation.
Field Options: Succeeding Text Enter any standard text that you want to display after this field on the presentation.
<< Less More >> Use these buttons to control the amount of information displayed in the dialog box. Click More >> to display the Format field and the Field Options group box. Click << Less to hide them.
Insert Click this option to include the field in the current presentation template.
Close Click this option when you are done adding fields to the current presentation template.
