When you copy a company, the General tab will be populated with the original company's data. Update it to reflect the new company's data.

| Firm Name

Enter the firm name. The top level firm becomes the company, and it cannot be changed.

Enter the firm byline. A byline is additional descriptive text about your firm, such as "Architects and Engineers."

Select a country from the drop-down list.

Select this option to enable the Vision Payroll module for this firm.

Use this drop-down to select the default address format.

Enter the company code. The length of the code you enter in the
Company Code field at the bottom of the tab is determined by the number entered in the
Length of Company Level field on the Organization General Setup form.

Enter the company code's label, as entered on the Organization General Setup Form.
