Audit Trail Reporting and the Info Center

Use the Audit Trail Reporting feature to track changes made to your Info Center records. You trigger audit trails when you update, delete, or insert items on the records. In the Info Center or in Reporting, use audit reports to review the changes.

You must enable the Audit Trail feature to see the audit reports. You enable and set up this feature on the Audit Trail tab of the General System Settings form in Configuration.

  • Audit reports display record names, actions performed, user names, and dates.
  • Audit detail reports display actions performed, such as insert or update, and old and new data values by column.
  • When you mouse over a record name in the context area of any Info Center record, Vision displays the date and time that the record was last modified, and the User ID of the employee who made the modification. Vision also displays the date on which record was created and the User ID of the employee who created the record.
