Check in a Document

Check in a document when you finish work on it. When you check in a document, Vision updates the document version and the document's history. After you check in a document, other Vision users can check out the document and make changes to it.

To check in a document, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the document.
  2. Click Check In.
  3. On the Document Check In dialog box, select one of the following options:
    • Check in document

    • Check in changes saved to this document, but leave the document checked out

  4. Browse to the updated file.
  5. Enter comments about the edits that you made.
  6. Click OK.
