Field Description
E. Resumes of Key Personnel Proposed for this Contract Government instructions for Section E (blocks 12-17): Complete this section for each key person who will participate in this contract. Group by firm, with personnel of the prime contractor or joint venture partner firms first.

You have multiple options for filling out this section:

  • If you create the proposal from an opportunity, Vision automatically populates blocks 12 through 17 with data for each employee on the opportunity's Team tab, including employees whose Vendor/Client check box is selected.
  • Select Add Employees from the menu. Vision populates blocks 12 through 17 for each employee you select.
  • Select Add Any Employee from the menu. Vision populates blocks 12 through 17 for each employee you select.
  • You can enter data directly into this section. Deltek strongly recommends against this procedure. The data will not appear in Section G, and you will have to enter data into Section G of the merged proposal document using Microsoft Word.
12. Name For each employee added to Section E using an auto-populate feature, Vision populates this block with the employee's name:
  • In the format you specified on the SF330 preferences form.
  • If no format was specified, the format defaults to First Name, Last Name.

If no employees were entered in Section E using an auto-populate feature, directly enter the information for this block.

13. Role in this Contract This non-editable block is important to the SF330. How Vision populates it depends on how you added the employee in Section E.
  • If the employee was added to Section E by creating the proposal from an opportunity, Vision populates this block with the employee's role from the opportunity's Team tab.
  • If the employee was added using either of the menu options Add Employees or Add Any Employee, choose Select Role from the shortcut menu and select a role from the list of employee roles in the Employee Role code table.
14. Years Experience Government instructions: Total years of relevant experience (block 14a), and years of relevant experience with current firm, but not necessarily the same branch office (block 14b).
14a. Total For each employee added to Section E using an auto-populate feature, Vision populates this block with a calculated number expressed in years, using data from the employee's record in the Employee Info Center:

Total = Years With Other Firms + Prior Years with this Firm + (Today's Date - Hire Date)

Otherwise you must enter in this data.

If you use Vision Multicompany, the information that populates for the proposal is based on the employee's home company, meaning that the data is driven by the home company that is associated with the employee record. The only exceptions are the Block 14 fields (Years Experience), where you can manually update the value entered for the home company so that it reflects the total years for all companies (or whatever is necessary for your firm's records).

14b. With Current Firm For each employee you entered in Section E using an auto-populate feature, Vision populates this block with a calculated number expressed in years, using data from the employee's record in the Employee Info Center:

Otherwise you must enter in this data.

15. Firm Name and Location For each employee you entered in Section E using an auto-populate feature, Vision populates this block with the Name, City, and State of the Proposal Firm whose Associated Organization is:

These projects do not necessarily have to be any of the projects presented in Section F for the project team if the person was not involved in any of those projects or the person worked on other projects that were more relevant than the team projects in Section F. Use the check box provided to indicate if the project was performed with any office of the current firm. If any of the professional services or construction projects are not complete, leave Year Completed blank and indicate the status in Brief Description and Specific Role (block (3)).
