How Calculated Measures Work

If you use Vision Analysis Cubes, you can create calculated measures for custom reports.

This is how calculated measures work:

  1. You create calculated measures on the Calculated Measures tab in Vision Configuration > General > Analysis Cubes.

  2. A system administrator uses the Vision Resource Kit to update the Vision Project data cube with the calculated measures.

  3. In Microsoft Excel, you can select a calculated measure when you create a custom report.

    In the Excel PivotTable List, calculated measures display in the measure groups and subfolders that you designated for the custom measure when you created the custom measure.
