Employee Examples - Contact Info Center

You can associate employee records with contact records.

Example One

If you open the contact record for Mary McCarthy and add Evan Plumb to the Employees grid:

  • Evan Plumb — and related employee information — displays in the Employees grid on the Associations tab of Mary McCarthy's contact record.

  • Mary McCarthy — and related contact information — displays in the Contacts grid on the Associations tab of Evan Plumb's employee record.

If you open the contact record for Mary McCarthy and remove Evan Plumb from the Employees grid:

  • Evan Plumb — and related employee information — no longer displays in the Employees grid on the Associations tab of Mary McCarthy's contact record.

  • Mary McCarthy — and related contact information — no longer displays in the Contacts grid on the Associations tab of Evan Plumb's employee record.

Example Two

If you open the employee record for Evan Plumb and add Mary McCarthy to the Contacts grid:

  • Mary McCarthy — and related client information — displays in the Contacts grid on the CRM Info tab of Evan Plumb's employee record.

  • Evan Plumb — and related employee information — displays in the Employees grid on the Associations tab of Mary McCarthy's contact record.

If you open the employee record for Evan Plumb and remove Mary McCarthy from the Contacts grid:

  • Mary McCarthy — and related client information — no longer displays in the Contacts grid on the CRM Info tab of Evan Plumb's employee record.

  • Evan Plumb — and related employee information — no longer displays in the Employees grid on the Associations tab of Mary McCarthy's contact record.
