Opportunity Examples - Client Info Center

You can associate opportunity records with client records.

Example One

If you open the client record for Columbia University and add Student Activity Center to the Opportunities grid:

• Student Activity Center — and related opportunity information — displays in the Opportunities grid on the Opportunities tab of Columbia University's client record.

• Columbia University — and related client information — displays in the Clients grid on the Clients/Contacts tab of the Student Activity Center's opportunity record.

If you open the client record for Columbia University and remove Student Activity Center from the Opportunities grid:

• Student Activity Center — and related opportunity information — no longer displays in the Opportunities grid on the Opportunities tab of Columbia University's client record.

• Columbia University — and related client information — no longer displays in the Clients grid on the Clients/Contacts tab of the Student Activity Center's opportunity record.

Example Two

If you open the opportunity record for the Student Activity Center and add Columbia University to the Clients grid:

• Columbia University — and related client information — displays in the Clients grid on the Clients/Contacts tab of the Student Activity Center's opportunity record.

• Student Activity Center — and related opportunity information—displays in the Opportunities grid on the Opportunities tab of Columbia University's client record.

If you open the opportunity record for the Student Activity Center and remove Columbia University from the Clients grid:

• Columbia University — and related client information — no longer displays in the Clients grid on the Clients/Contacts tab of the Student Activity Center's opportunity record.

• Student Activity Center — and related opportunity information — no longer displays in the Opportunities grid on the Opportunities tab of Columbia University's client record.
