Delete a Role

You can delete a security role at any time. After you delete a role, you cannot restore it. If you need the role again in the future, you must recreate it.

Prerequisite: Select an existing role.

To delete a role from Vision, complete the following steps:

  1. Click Delete. Vision asks you to confirm the deletion.
  2. Click Yes.
Postrequisite: After you delete a role, you must reassign any users of that role to another role. If you do not, those users will not be able to log in to Vision.
