Set Up Alerts for Opportunity Stage Change
Opportunity Stage Change alerts notify specified employees when a stage change occurs within an opportunity. For example, you can set an alert that notifies employees when an opportunity has been awarded. This alert is triggered by a change in the database.
Prerequisite: You must set the alert polling interval to a level other than zero for this alert to be activated. Deltek recommends a value of 60.
To set up Opportunity Stage Change alerts:
- From the Vision Navigation menu, click .
- In the Folders field on the Alerts Configuration form, select CRM.
- In the Alert field, select Opportunity Stage Change.
- Select the Active option to enable the alert. If no rules exist for this alert, the Active option is disabled.
- Click Options to select an existing alert rule or to create a new rule. If a rule was already assigned to this alert, <options selected> displays in this field.
- To remove the option for this alert, delete <options selected>.
- Click Save.
