Add a Company to a Service Profile

If you are using Vision Multicompany, you can add one or more companies to the service profile. This determines the individual companies for which the service profile is available (by default, all companies have access).

Because opportunity records are available to all companies, the relationships between companies and service profiles that are created on this tab will only apply when you create a fee estimate where an organization is assigned to the opportunity on the General tab of the Opportunity Info Center. Otherwise, all service profiles will display when creating a fee estimate and there are no limits applied by company.

To add a company to a service profile:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Configuration > General > Fee Estimate Service Profiles.
  2. Open a service profile and click the Company Access tab.
  3. For the service profile to be available to all companies, click the Available to All Companies check box. The Companies grid is disabled.
  4. To assign specific companies to a service profile, make sure the Available to All Companies check box is cleared and click Insert on the grid toolbar.
  5. Use the drop-down list in the Company field to select a company. The Name field displays a description of the company.
  6. Click Save.
