Billing Unit Summary Dialog Box

Use the Billing Unit Summary dialog box to view total billing extensions for all unit transactions, broken out by billing status.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Billing > Interactive Billing.
2. Click the Units tab.
3. On the toolbar, click Summary.

Billing Extension

Project billing extensions (rate x unit quantity) are displayed in total and broken out by billing status. To calculate each unit transaction's extension, Vision multiplies the Quantity times the Rate. Bill — The total amount of all extensions for all current, billable unit transactions. Hold — The total amount of all extensions for all current, held unit transactions. Write-off — The total amount of all extensions for all current, unit transactions marked to be written-off. Delete — The total amount of all extensions for all current, unit transactions marked as deleted. Totals — The combined billing extension amounts for all current, unit transactions for this project, regardless of status (billable, held, deleted or written-off).
