Schedule Batch Billing Runs

If your Batch Billing runs contain large amounts of data, Deltek recommends that you run the batch through the Process Server. The purpose of the Process Server is to offload lengthy jobs for background processing.

After you insert a process queue for batch billing, you can schedule batch billing runs.

You cannot run simultaneous batch billing processes for the same project. For example, if a scheduled batch billing process is running when you start a second batch billing process on the Batch Billing form, one of those processes could fail if the same project is included in both processes.

To schedule a Batch Billing run for a time in the future, complete the following steps:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Billing > Batch Billing.
2. On the Main tab of the Batch Billing form, complete the information.
3. On the Batch Billing form toolbar, click Schedule.
4. Complete the information on the Schedule dialog box.
5. Click OK.
