Fee Display Dialog Box

Use the Fee Display dialog box to view information such as the total fee for the project and the total amount of that fee that has been billed.

This dialog box is useful if you need to modify the client's fee and want to see how the changes will affect the current fee billing amount on the invoice.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following step:

Select the appropriate set of steps, depending on which area of Billing you are working in:
  • From the Vision Navigation menu, click Billing > Billing Terms, click the Fees tab, select a project with fee terms, and then click Show Fee.
  • From the Vision Navigation menu, click Billing > Batch Billing, select a project with fee terms, click Update Fees, and then click Show Fee.
  • From the Vision Navigation menu, click Billing > Interactive Billing, select a project with fee terms, click Update Fees, and then click Show Fee.

Field Description
Total Fee This field displays the total amount of fees entered for this project.
Total Earned This field displays the total amount eligible to be billed (usually based on percent complete).
Previous Fee Billing This field displays the total amount of fees previously billed.
Current Fee Billing This field displays the total earned minus the previous fee billing.
