Download a Billing List

You can download an electronic copy of the Billing List to your computer or to another network location.

To download a billing list:

  1. Open the appropriate Billing Group or Rate Table form.
  2. Complete one of the following actions:
    • To download a report for one group or table, select a group or table, then click Print > Print Current > <Billing Group or Table>.
    • To download a report with data for all open billing groups or rate tables, click Print > Print Active Group.
    • To select several groups or tables to download, click Print > Select <Billing Group or Table> > to Print and select the groups or tables to include in the downloaded report.
  3. At the top of the report, click Download Report.
  4. On the Download Invoice dialog box, select one of the following options:
    Option Description
    All pages Select this option to download the entire report.
    Page Range Select this option to download a portion of the full report. Enter a range of pages in the Page Range field.
  5. In the Download File As drop-down list, select one of the following options:
    Option Description
    Adobe PDF (View) Converts the report output to PDF format and presents the PDF directly in the browser.
    Adobe PDF (Save) Saves the report output in PDF format, for display in Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat.
    Rich Text Format (RTF) Saves the report output as a text file.
    Microsoft Word Document Saves the report output as a Word document. You can then use Word formatting options to enhance the look of your report.
    Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet (Display Format) Saves the report output in XLS format, for display and editing in Microsoft Excel. This option does not show cell borders.
    Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet (Data Format) Saves the report output in XLS format, for display and editing in Microsoft Excel. This option displays cell borders.
  6. Click Download. If you selected Adobe PDF, the file opens in a separate browser window. If you selected another option, the File Download dialog box displays.
  7. Select one of the following options:
    Option Description
    Open this file from its current location Opens the file in the program associated with the file type that you selected. Select this option and click OK. The file opens in Microsoft Excel.
    Save this file to disk Saves the file to the location you specify. If you select this option, you are prompted to browse to a location on your local or network drive. Click Save and then click OK.
