Adjust Benefit Hours

You can manually adjust an employee's earned or taken benefit hours.

To make adjustments to benefit hours, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Human Resources > Benefit Hours > Adjustments.
  2. On the Benefit Hours Adjustments Processing form, click Search to select one ore more employees from the Employees lookup.

    Vision displays the Benefit Hours Adjustment Processing form for the appropriate employees, listing all current benefit plans for each.

  3. Click a row to select the benefit plan you want to adjust, then click Modify.
  4. In the Earned and/or Taken fields on the Benefit Hours Adjustment dialog box, enter an adjustment amount.

    Vision calculates the adjusted balance, or the number of hours credited to the employee's balance for the benefit accrual plan after the adjustment, and displays the amount in the Adjusted Balance field.

  5. Click OK to accept your adjustments.

    Vision returns to the original processing form, which displays the results of the adjustment.

    If your adjustment creates a new balance that exceeds the maximum you established for the benefit plan, Vision displays a warning. You can choose whether or not to process the adjustment.
