Benefit Hours Adjustment Form

Use the Benefit Hours Adjustment form to view the number of benefit hours an employee has earned and/or taken.

Location

To display the Benefit Hours Adjustment form, complete the following step:

From the Vision Navigation menu, click Human Resources > Benefit Hours   > Adjustments.

Field	Description
Modify	Click this option to open the Benefit Hours Adjustment dialog box, which lists current benefits data for the employee. On the dialog box, you enter an adjustment amount in the Earned and/or Taken fields. Vision calculates the adjusted balance, or the number of hours credited to the employee's balance for the benefit accrual plan after the adjustment, and displays the amount in the Adjusted Balance field. If you clicked yes to print the report and if your firm uses the Deltek First Vision Essentials cloud version of Vision, the Preview window will open instead.
Print	Click this option to view the Benefit Hours Processing Journal for the selected code in a preview page. If your firm uses the Deltek First Vision Essentials cloud version of Vision, the Print option is not available. You can preview reports onscreen and then print the reports from the Preview window.
Help	Click this option to view help on adjusting benefit hours.

Fields

Field	Description
Employee	This field displays the employee number of the employee selected for a benefit hours adjustment.
Code	This field displays the code of the benefit accrual plan for which you are entering an adjustment.
Description	This field displays the name of the benefit accrual plan for which you are entering an adjustment.
YTD Earned	This field displays the number of hours that this adjustment adds to the year-to-date earned amount for this benefit accrual plan for the employee.
YTD Taken	This field displays the number of hours that this adjustment adds to the year-to-date taken amount for this benefit accrual plan for the employee.
Current Balance	This field displays the number of hours credited to the employee's balance for the benefit accrual plan prior to the adjustment. Vision calculates the current balance.
Adjusted Balance	This field displays the number of hours credited to the employee's balance for the benefit accrual plan after the adjustment. Vision calculates the adjusted balance.
