Apply a Filter to the Entire Report

You can apply a filter to an entire report.

To apply a filter to an entire report, complete the following steps:

  1. To apply a filter to the entire report, in the PivotTable Field List, right-click the name of the field that you want to use to filter the entire report. Only dimensions can be selected as report filters.
  2. On the shortcut menu, click Add to Report Filter. The selected field displays in the Report Filter area of the PivotTable Field List. It also displays as the heading at the top of the report layout area.
