Add the Excel PivotTable Field List to the Quick Access Toolbar

The Quick Access Toolbar in Excel 2007 is normally at the top left of the screen. It includes the Save, Undo Typing, Print Preview, and Quick Print icons. You can add the PivotTable Field List to this toolbar.

To add the PivotTable Field List to the Quick Access Toolbar, complete the following steps:

  1. In Excel, right-click anywhere on the Quick Access Toolbar.
  2. On the shortcut menu, click Customize Quick Access Toolbar.
  3. On the Customize Quick Access Toolbar dialog box, click the down arrow in the Choose commands from field, and from the list, select PivotTable Tools | Options Tab.
  4. In the list below the Choose commands from field, select Field List.
  5. Click the Add button to move Field List into the box on the right side of the screen.
  6. Click OK.

    The PivotTable Field List icon now displays in the Excel Quick Access Toolbar.

To remove the PivotTable Field List from the Quick Access Toolbar, right-click the PivotTable Field List icon in the Quick Access Toolbar, and select Remove from Quick Access Toolbar.
