Add Special Services to a Fee Estimate

Use special services to define any additional fees that are not included in the service profile. Special services are fees that are outside the scope of the fee defined by the functional group. For example, you can use the Phases grid to define the basic services on the project and the Special Services grid to define any additional services.

To add special services to a fee estimate, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Fee Estimate form, select a project record.
  2. Use the Service Profile drop-down list to select the service profile that you want to apply to the fee estimate.
  3. On the Special Services grid, click Insert.
  4. In the new row on the grid, enter the phase, description, fee, and percent complete for the special service. Vision automatically calculates the fee earned and the total fee for the special services entered on this grid. These amounts are summed and display in the Special Services field in the Fee Estimate summary.
  5. Click Save.
