Convert Generic Resource Keys

Use the Generic Resources Key Conversion utility to change a generic resource. You can also change the labor category or labor code after you assign a generic resource to a project plan.

Prerequisite: Back up your Vision database.

To change generic resources:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Conversions > Generic Resources.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Generic Resources form.
3. Select one of the following options:

   Option	Description
   To save the conversion to run later	Click Save.
   To run the conversion now	Click Run.
   To schedule the conversion to run on a regular basis via the process server	Click Schedule and complete the Schedule dialog box.
