Convert Discount Code Keys

Use the Discount Code Key Conversion utility to change a discount code or to close out (consolidate) discount code data into a single discount code.

You can consolidate data between two existing discount codes. Alternatively, you can set up a new discount code in which to close out discount codes that are no longer in use.

Prerequisite: Back up your Vision database.

To change discount codes:

1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Conversions > Discount Codes.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Discount Codes form.
3. Select one of the following options:

   Option	Description
   To save the conversion to run later	Click Save.
   To run the conversion now	Click Run.
   To schedule the conversion to run on a regular basis via the process server	Click Schedule and complete the Schedule dialog box.
