Create a List of Competitors for an Opportunity

You can create and maintain a list of companies that are pursuing the opportunity.

To create a list of competitors, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Info Center > Opportunities.
  2. On the Opportunity Info Center form, select the opportunity record.
  3. Click the Competition tab.
  4. Use the Associate option on the Competition grid to open the Client lookup and then select the companies that are pursuing the opportunity. As you make selections, you can also add details about the competitor's strengths, weaknesses, incumbent status, and any other notes that are useful as reference information. You can continue to update the records on this grid as the competition changes to ensure accurate information is maintained.
