Establish Timesheet Calendar Dialog Box

Use the Establish Timesheet Calendar dialog box to set parameters when you use the Auto Fill option to generate labor periods.

Location

To display the dialog box, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Configuration > Time & Expense > Company Timesheet.
  2. Click the Calendar tab.
  3. On the grid, click Auto Fill.

Field Description
Timesheet Frequency Select the frequency of the timesheet periods you are adding to the Calendar grid: Monthly, Semi-monthly, Biweekly, or Weekly
Start Date

Enter the start date of the first timesheet period you want to add to the Calendar grid.

Enter a date or click and select a date.

End By

Enter the end date of the last timesheet period you want to add to the Calendar grid.

Enter the date or click and select a date.

Set Status To

Select the status for the timesheet periods you are setting up. The status that you select is assigned to each timesheet period added to the Calendar grid and determines what timesheet processing options are available to Timesheet users for those periods.

The options are Open, Administrators, System Administrators, and Closed.

First Week Number/Timesheet Period Number

If Enable Timesheet Period Number is selected on the Calendar tab, enter the period number that you want assigned to the first period that Vision creates. Period numbers are assigned sequentially to the new periods starting with that number.

This field is either First Week Number or First Timesheet Period Number, depending on the label you selected on the Company Timesheet Configuration form.

Buttons

Field Description
OK Click this button to insert timesheet periods on the Calendar grid based on the criteria you entered on the dialog box.
Cancel Click this button to close the Establish Timesheet Calendar dialog box without inserting any timesheet periods on the Calendar grid.
Help Click this button to display help for the Establish Timesheet Calendar dialog box.
