Fee Estimate Groups Overview
Fee estimate groups represent the disciplines that are available for use when creating a fee estimate.
You can assign the cost and functional groups to service profiles, which users can select as the foundation for building a fee estimate in the Opportunity Info Center or the Accounting application.
For example, functional groups might include all of the disciplines that are working on the project. A fee estimate could break down the fee amount by phases (segments of work) and by the functional groups that are contributing to the project. To take advantage of the fee estimate feature, you must enter at least one functional group to be available for all fee estimates.
