Set Up Benefit Accrual Codes

To set up your firm’s benefit hour plans, you establish a firm-wide pool of accrual codes, each of which represents a plan such as vacation, sick, or personal leave.

There is no limit to the number of benefit accrual codes that you can define for your firm. You can add accrual codes at any time. You can also modify most data in Benefit Accrual Configuration at any time.

To set up benefit accrual codes, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Configuration > Accounting > Time Analysis.
  2. On the Time Analysis and Benefit Accrual form, click the Benefit Accrual Setup tab.
  3. To add a new code, position the row selector on the row above where you want to add the new code on the grid, and click Insert.
  4. Complete the fields in the blank row for benefit accrual code that you add.
  5. Click Save.
