Add a Global Transfer Reason

Use global transfer reasons to control the reasons that are entered for employee labor transfers. The reasons entered on this tab are available to all Timesheet users in the company and can help identify or classify revisions for a labor transfer. Transfer reasons display on the Timesheet Audit report.

To add a global transfer reason, complete the following steps:

  1. From the Vision Navigation menu, click Configuration > Time & Expense > Company Timesheet.
  2. Click the Timesheet Audit tab on the Company Timesheet Configuration form.
  3. Select the Enable billing transfer audit option.
  4. On the toolbar of the Global Transfer Reasons grid, click Insert.
  5. On the Text Editor dialog box, enter a reason for a billing transfer and save. The reason displays in a new grid row and is available for selection.
  6. Click Save.
