GovWin IQ Web Service Utility

Use the GovWin IQ Web Service utility to connect Vision to the GovWin IQ Web service, which provides information about government procurements. To use this feature, you must subscribe to GovWin’s market intelligence and lead generation service.

GovWin IQ provides a database of federal, state, and local opportunity data. You can select opportunities that you would like to import into Vision as opportunities for your company to pursue.

A pre-defined Web service call automatically transfers those opportunities from GovWin IQ into Vision and automatically refreshes them if they are updated in the GovWin IQ opportunity database.

After You Select a Record from GovWin IQ

For each opportunity record that you select from GovWin IQ, Vision does the following:

• Creates a new opportunity record in the Opportunity Info Center.
• Enters opportunity data on the IQ Info tab of the new opportunity record, in the Opportunity Info Center.
• Enters the opportunity name and GovWin IQ ID number on the General tab of the Opportunity Info Center, for reference.

You can change the data on the IQ Info tab in the Opportunity Info Center if the IQ Number field displays a valid value.
