Welcome to the Deltek Vantagepoint 3.5.5 Release Notes, which describe the new features and enhancements introduced in this release.

These release notes address all of the modules associated with Deltek Vantagepoint 3.5, some of which your firm may not use. Skip the sections that do not apply to your implementation of Deltek Vantagepoint.


Regulatory Enhancements


Federal


2020 Forms 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) released the 2020 Form 1099-NEC, Nonemployee Compensation, which replaces Box 7 in Form 1099-MISC for reporting nonemployee compensation. This shifts the role of the 1099-MISC for reporting all other types of compensation. 

The IRS and various states are requiring that Form 1099-NEC be filed by February 1, 2021.

The new 1099-NEC captures any payments to non-employee service providers, such as independent contractors, freelancers, vendors, consultants, and other self-employed individuals, commonly referred to as 1099 workers.

According to the IRS, a combination of these four conditions distinguishes a reportable payment:

The following are critical guidelines for reporting with Form 1099-NEC:

 

1099-MISC

The IRS also redesigned the 2020 Form 1099-MISC due to the removal of nonemployee compensation reporting in Box 7. Data currently reported in Box 7 (Nonemployee compensation) of Form 1099-MISC for tax year 2019 will be required to be reported in Box 1 of Form 1099-NEC for tax year 2020. The revised form includes other changes to the box numbers for reporting miscellaneous compensation.

Form 1099 Processing: Screen Updates 

To comply with the IRS requirements, changes are made to the Form 1099 Processing application (Accounting » Form 1099 Processing). Electronic files and reports generated by the screen are updated. Some UI items and actions have also been modified, as detailed below.

Tabs

Two separate tabs have been created to allow you to modify 1099 information specific to a report. To access these tabs, click Edit on the Actions bar.

  • 1099-MISC tab: Fields that previously displayed on the old screen are now on this tab.

  • 1099-NEC tab: Fields on this tab are new.

1099-MISC tab

Changes include the following:

  • The Exclude this vendor from 1099 reporting check box has been renamed to Exclude this vendor from 1099-MISC reporting.

  • Nonemployee compensation (Box 7) has been moved to Box 1 of the 1099-NEC tab.

  • Other changes to the 1099-MISC form are also reflected.

Generate Work File

Clicking this option on the Actions bar calculates or recalculates amounts for both 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC. There is no option to generate amounts separately for the two forms. When you regenerate the work file, any edits made prior to regenerating are overwritten.

Other Actions

You can now create electronic files and generate reports for both 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC using this application.

Options available on the Other Actions menu are:

Social Security and Medicare Taxes 2021

The Social Security Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance (OASDI) taxable wage base increases from $137,700 to $142,800.

The maximum 2021 Social Security OASDI component of the Federal Insurance Contributions Act tax payable by each employee is $8,853.60 or 6.2% of the taxable wage base, up from $8,537.40 for 2020. Employers match the employee amount with an equal contribution.

The Medicare or Hospital Insurance tax rate remains 1.45% and is applicable to all wages paid during the year. An additional Medicare tax of 0.9% applies to individuals with annual earned income of more than $200,000, and $250,000 for married couples filing jointly. While employers are required to pay a matching 1.45% portion of the standard Medicare tax, employers are not required to pay a matching 0.9% portion of the additional Medicare tax.

For 2021, an employee who earns exactly $142,800 is subject to a total FICA tax (Social Security tax plus Medicare tax) of $10,924.20 ($8,853.60 + $2,070.60), up from $10,534.05 for 2020.


State


Arizona 2020 W-2 Electronic Filing

According to Arizona’s electronic filing specifications for Forms W-2 (Pub 701 as of January 2020), the following are the changes for tax year 2020:

To comply with these changes, Vantagepoint now allows you to create W-2 electronic files for Arizona. When you go to Payroll » Form W-2 Processing » Electronic Filing, you can now select AZ from the Electronic Filing Type drop-down list.


Arkansas 2021 Tax Update

Arkansas’ withholding formula has been updated, effective January 1, 2021. Changes include the following:

Hawaii 2020 W-2 Electronic Filing

The Department of Taxation requires employers, whose withholding tax liability exceeds $40,000 annually, to file withholding returns electronically for taxable years beginning on or after January 1, 2020. Requirements

If you are an employer or payroll provider who is required by the federal government to electronically file Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statements, or Form W-2C during the year, you must also electronically transmit these informational returns to the Hawaii Department of Taxation. For Hawaii employees and withholding, use the Social Security Administration’s EFW2 and EFW2C format and the Hawaii format specified in this guide: Electronic Filing Specifications Handbook.

 

Due Date

The due date for submitting W-2s electronically is February 28 (February 29 for leap year).

The file must meet the electronic filing specifications outlined by the Social Security Administration (guide available at http://www.ssa.gov/employer/EFW2&EFW2C.htm) and include additional Hawaii record specifications (fields and layouts), which are detailed in the Electronic Filing Specifications Handbook.

Vantagepoint Solution

Billing >> Interactive Billing


Defect 1372736: This issue occurred when you modified the following fields on the Invoice Accept dialog box in Interactive Billing before you final accepted the invoice of a project that had elements at lower levels of the work breakdown structure (WBS):

When you viewed the invoice transaction file in Transaction Center » Transaction Entry » Invoices, the Account field did not display the correct, updated account number.


Defect 1377897: When you changed the value for the Start Period for Transaction Detail field and viewed the Billing Session Options dialog box again, your change was not saved and the field reverted to the previous value.


Defect 1381668: This issue occurred on the Interactive Billing form when you accepted an invoice in the active company. When you switched to another company, you continued to receive a confirmation prompt to submit the invoice transaction file.


Defect 1382803: When you added a billing expense on the Expenses tab in Interactive Billing, it incorrectly allowed you to enter more than 12 characters in the Reference Number field. This caused you to receive the following error message: "String or binary data would be truncated in table....This statement has been terminated."


Defect 1389268: On the tabs in Interactive Billing, when you edited comments for a transaction in the grid, tabbed twice to move to the Comments field in the next transaction row in the grid, and entered comments for that transaction, the comments incorrectly updated the comments for the transaction above it.


Defect 1390206: When you posted a timesheet with hours that had a non-billable labor code and you accepted a billing invoice with the non-billable hours, the billing status for the non-billable hours was not changed from Billed to Final Billed. You could see the incorrect status on the Project Detail report.

Defect 1385806: When you ran a search on the Payment Review form, the Bank Amount column displayed zero amounts for EFT payments even when these payments were not voided. This issue occurred when the vendor's description was longer than 80 characters.

Defect 1353542: This issue occurred on the Vendor Payments form when you created a new payment run and then set the Process Type option to Automatic. In the Vendor Selections field, when you modified the search criteria to exclude vendor type firms that you set as Consultant in the Firms hub, Vantagepoint continued to display these firms in the Vendor Balances grid.

Defect 1379929: When you created a new activity and then added contacts that were associated with firms in the Attendees field, the Firm field displayed text that was unreadable.

Defect 1390737: When you tried to view a hub record in the Vantagepoint browser application using a legacy Edge browser and you only had a read-only access user role to that hub, you were not able to scroll down the record list when you switched to List view.

Defect 1374013: In List View, you were unable to select a value for the Firm Address Client Location. The field continued loading and did not show the drop-down list options.

Defect 1297942: When you selected Mine from the Employees hub search list, the results included employees where you (the active user) were not the supervisor.


Defect 1353519: In the Employees hub, when you tried to open a specific employee record, you received an error message saying that the record may no longer exist or that you did not have access to it. This occurred even when you could see the employee's name while in list view.

Defect 1376802: On the AR Review form, you were unable to change the invoice status in the Aged AR - As of [Date] field because the drop-down arrow was missing. This issue occurred when your role's access rights for the Firms hub was set to Read Only in Settings » Security » Roles.


Defect 1390069: This issue occurred on the Change Time Frame dialog box (displayed from the AR Review form), when you set the Time Frame option to Period Range and then selected accounting periods with two-digit months in the Starting and Ending fields. When you opened the dialog box again, the first digits of the months that you set were cut off in both fields. For example, if you set the time frame from 11/2020 to 12/2020, it was changed to 1/2020 and 2/2020.

Defect 1342569: When you entered an invoice number in the Billed Invoice lookup field on the Voucher Line Items grid of the Voucher Details dialog box, the entered value was deleted from the lookup field when you pressed the TAB key to move to the next field. As a result, you had to select the invoice from the lookup to retain the value in the Billed Invoice lookup field.


Defect 1368143: On the Overview tab of the Firms hub, when you used the Parent field to create a firm hierarchy, you were able to set two records as the parent firm of each other.


Defect 1373727: When you created and saved a new vendor record, even though the save completed successfully you received an error message: " "YYYYYY" is invalid. The correct format is XXXXX."


Defect 1377506: This issue occurred when you upgraded to Vantagepoint and migrated records from Vision. If a firm record that you migrated from Vision had a project linked to it, the project did not display in the Most Recent Project field on the firm's Summary Pane in Vantagepoint.


Defect 1378467: In Screen Designer for the Firms hub (Other Actions » Design), when you set the field security rights of the Payment Notes field on the Vendor tab to Hidden, the Description field on the Overview tab also became hidden in the firm record.


Defect 1379868: This issue occurred in the Addresses grid on the Overview tab of the Firms form when you selected the Primary check box in the row of another address without first clearing the check box in the row of the current primary address. When you accessed the record again, the Primary check box was no longer selected for any of the addresses.

Defect 1378045: On the Vouchers tab of the Voucher Review form, the Pay Terms column displayed PWD instead of PWP, which you set as the Payment Type on the Voucher Options dialog box.

Defect 1377733: On the Projects tab of the Marketing Campaigns form, when you added a project, the Primary Client and Primary Contact fields did not automatically populate.

Defect 1366889: On the More Calculations tab, when you selected both the Enable Add On and Use Amount options, the Amount/Percent field in the Add-ons grid incorrectly allowed input to 4 decimal places.


Defect 1368000: When you copied billing terms from a source project that had the Enable Posting by Billing Phase option selected in the Fee Billing Phases grid on the Fees tab, you could not edit the new project's Fee Billing Phases grid.

Defect 1357437: When fields in the Contract Management grid were set to be Required through the Screen Designer, the fields did not display as Required when you saved entries on the Contracts tab in Hubs » Projects » Contract Management

Defect 1366553: If reimbursable consultants billing markup information was specified on the Plan Settings dialog box for a project plan, Vantagepoint did not use that information to calculate the planned billing amounts when you added reimbursable consultant accounts to a project plan. To force Vantagepoint to calculate and display the correct amounts for those accounts, you had to select Recalculate Planned Billing on the Consultants tab of the Plan Settings dialog box and then click Save.

Defect 1340127: When you viewed the Summary pane of a project in the Projects hub, you were unable to see the Project Plan Summary under the Project Details section. When you clicked Other Actions » Design on the Actions bar and checked the Field Properties (Field Type: Project Plan Summary; Field ID: Plan.Summary), the Field Security dialog box showed that it was secured for all roles by default.


Defect 1351021: When you displayed the list view in the Projects hub, the Expense Unit Table column did not display the Unit Table field value from the Accounting tab of the Projects form.


Defect 1360612: When you were logged in as an administrator, the Design option was not available in the Other Actions drop-down field in the Projects form. 


Defect 1367156: When you navigated to a WBS level 3 (task) element in Hubs » Projects » Project, you were able to delete that element even if it was referenced in Intercompany Billing settings and the Multicompany Analysis report. 


Defect 1372161: This issue occurred when you edited the Stage value for a project. If you set the Won/Lost Date to the first day of a month and then ran a project search with the Won/Lost Date set to Last Month, the search incorrectly returned the project with the first day of the following month.


Defect 1372592: When you created a project that included values from user-defined fields (UDF), Vantagepoint created the project but the values from the UDFs were not reflected in the new project record. This issue occurred when the project structure had a WBS level that used autonumbering.


Defect 1376714: When you opened a promotional project that was linked to a regular project, selected Other Actions » Add Phase, and then chose Create Phase » From Project Template and added phases, the newly added phases were created under the regular project rather than the promotional project.


Defect 1377422: On the Projects form, when you used the Copy action with the Copy Billing Terms check box selected to create a new project from a project with billing terms at the task level (WBS3), the WBS3 billing terms did not get copied to the new project.


Defect 1379600: The value in Project Start Date did not display correctly on the Milestones grid on the Dates and Costs tab in the Projects hub when you updated the date through a user-defined workflow.


Defect 1385983: When you deleted some phase/task records from an existing project and used that project as a template to create a new project, the deleted phase/task records were still displayed in the new project.


Defect 1389612: This issue occurred on the Projects hub form. When you used a project search with a filter for a user-defined field that used the Contains operator, you received the following error message: “Incorrect syntax near the keyword ‘LIKE’. Invalid usage of the option next to the FETCH statement."


Defect 1392254: When you created a new project and clicked Other Actions » Copy Project, some fields became disabled on the Edit Project Structure dialog box. Even when the Organization field was populated, you received an "Organization is Required" message.


Defect 1394274: When you selected WBS levels on the Choose Project Structure screen and then clicked the Continue button, Vantagepoint stopped responding. This issue occurred when you created a project from a project template that contained phases with tasks.

Defect 1372676: When you viewed a project and then switched to another, there was a significant delay in displaying the project review data.


Mobile >> Mobile CRM


Defect 1390409: When you locked the Owner field of the Contacts hub in the Screen Designer of the Vantagepoint browser application, you were still able to edit the Owner field and save the changes in Mobile CRM.


Mobile >> Mobile Time and Expense


Defect 1373421: This issue occurred when you created an expense report in the Vantagepoint browser application with the Company Paid option selected and the Credit Card field blank for an expense line. When you submitted the expense report through Mobile Time and Expense, the mobile application was not able to process the action and no validation error was displayed.


Defect 1382798: When you added an expense line to a new expense report and saved, the date that you indicated in the expense line was changed (decreased by 1 day). This defect was time zone-dependent and only occurred on iOS devices.


Defect 1391421: When you opened an in-progress timesheet in Mobile Time and Expense and searched for unit tables, a slow performance issue occurred if retrieving a large amount of unit table.


My Stuff >> Dashboard


Defect 1361000: When you ran a search in the Saved Search field of the Dashpart Designer and you then selected the check box of the records based on the search results on the Search dialog box, the Saved Search field did not display the new records that you selected. You had to select the records from the drop-down menu of the Saved Search field to include the selected records from the search results in the dashpart.


Defect 1371921: This issue applies if you use multiple companies. When you displayed the Billing Review predefined dashpart in a dashboard, the dashpart contents sometimes took a long time to display, or the spinning wheel animation displayed and the dashpart stopped responding.


Defect 1372471: When you included the Project Type column in a dashpart with the Project dashpart base, the column did not display any data.


Defect 1375157: When you included the Status column in a dashpart with the Project dashpart base, the status value in the Status column was incorrect for the phase level.


Defect 1377510: When you imported multiple dashparts in a single DPT file, the dashparts failed to import. This issue occurred if two or more dashparts in the DPT file had the same calculated field.


Defect 1379383: When you displayed accounts receivable invoice-related columns in a dashpart with the project dashpart base, the displayed data did not match the actual AR invoice records.


Defect 1379383: When you displayed AR invoice related columns in a dashpart with the Project dashpart base, the displayed data did not match the actual AR Invoice records.


Defect 1388599: This issue applies if you created a new dashpart and set the Dashpart Base option to either Project or Project Detail on the Add New Dashpart dialog box. When you saved and then viewed the dashpart, you received the following error message: "String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated." This occurred when the values exceeded the field length set for phases and tasks in Utilities » Key Formats.


My Stuff >> Expense Report


Defect 1387994: On the Expense Report form, after you clicked Save and saved an expense report, the Unsaved Changes dialog box incorrectly displayed.


Defect 1382272: When you clicked the Search link in the Project field of an expense report and then opened the Project/Phase/Task Lookup, you received an "error has occurred" message.


Defect 1386385: When you created expense reports and edited line items in the grid, the Accounts field for previously saved line items displayed as Undefined instead of the selected account name. This occurred only for a particular account.


Defect 1389314: On the Travel Detail dialog box, you entered a round number for the value of the Miles field, and then clicked OK. When you opened the Travel Detail dialog box again, the value of the Miles field was rounded off incorrectly.


Defect 1390037: When you generated the Detailed Expense Report, duplicate entries of an expense line appeared in the report. In addition, expense lines appeared in the wrong order when you printed the Expense Report.


Defect 1391240: When you viewed the details of an expense line item receipt, the Date field on the Expense Line Receipts dialog box displayed the creation date of the expense report instead of the expense line item.


Defect 1391259: When search results were displayed in the drop-down list of the search field in the Expense Reports form, the status of expense report records in the list did not match the status of the actual expense report records. As a workaround, refresh the browser to reload the Expense Report form.


Defect 1402620: On the Expense Report form, when you entered an expense item and selected a regular project that your security role did not have access to, an indirect general ledger account automatically prefilled in the Account field. You could not select a reimbursable or direct account. When you tried to save the entry, you received the following error message: "Indirect Account is not permitted with a regular Project."


Defect 1403924: Credit card charges with a negative amount that were imported in Cash Management » Credit Card Reconciliation did not display in the Credit Card Charges pane of the Expense Report form as they should have. However, the charges were included in the credit card charges count that displayed beside the Credit Card Charges pane.


My Stuff >> Reporting


Defect 1273306: This issue occurred when, on the Columns & Groups tab of the Project List report, you set the Grid Type option to Employees in the Groupings grid (in the Sorting and Grouping section). When you ran the report, the Hours column appeared blank for all employees on the report. This issue occurred even though you had access to CRM Only and the employee hours were displayed in the Hours column in the Team Members grid on the Team tab of the Projects form.


Defect 1316559: When you selected the Account column on the Definition Setup form of Utilities » Imports & Exports » Exports, the Project Labor Export report displayed an incorrect account number. 


Defect 1317454: When you ran the Contract Management report that contained a project with a work breakdown structure (WBS) that had project, phase, and task levels, the Phase column displayed the sum total of both the phase level and task level amounts. As a result, the phase amount was doubled.


Defect 1319142: This error occurred on the Firm List report when you:

When you ran the report, the following error message displayed: "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted). Query execution failed for dataset 'ReportDataset'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand). For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors."


Defect 1331999: This issue occurred on the Contract Management report when you selected the following options in the Grouping and Sorting section of the Columns & Groups tab:

When you ran the report, the groupings did not appear on the report.


Defect 1335687: When you selected the Include User Defined Fields option for the Project Detail report, the user-defined fields were not included when you generated the report. However, the user-defined fields were included in the generated Project Progress Report.


Defect 1353493: This issue occurred when your role's access to Labor Cost Rates/Amounts was set to Subtotals Only on the Accounting tab in Settings » Security » Roles. When you ran the Project Hit Rate report, the project total values were not displayed in the following columns:


Defect 1363737: When you used the Activity - Project field to select a record and then generated the Activity List report, you received the following message: "An error has occurred during report processing."


Defect 1374008: When you specified Revenue Type as the sort criteria for the Office Earnings report, the sort order on the generated report was incorrect.


Defect 1374064: When you opened a Project Forecast report, the Save button was missing in the report even though your assigned role can save reports. This issue occurred when the database had only the CRM and CRM Plus modules enabled.


Defect 1377615: On the Columns & Groups tab of the Labor Resource Planned and Actuals report, the Show Final Totals check box was missing.


Defect 1379502: In the desktop application, when you created user-defined fields on the Custom Field tab for the Equipment hub and then viewed these user-defined fields on the General tab of the Equipment hub form (Hubs » Equipment), no user-defined fields displayed on any of the Equipment reports when you:

  1. Navigated to and then selected Reporting » Equipment report (such as the Equipment Summary, Asset List, or Asset Detail report).

  2. Clicked Preview to open the report options.

  3. Selected the Sorting/Grouping tab or the Columns tab to view report options.


Defect 1379812: When you ran reports in the browser application, Vantagepoint generated invalid SQL syntax by converting parentheses to URL encoded strings. As a result, the Report Administration utility in the desktop application displayed no report data when you tried to monitor currently running reports on the Current Activity tab or to review past and current reporting job logs on the Report Logging tab.


Defect 1381061: This issue occurred on the Firm Relationship Summary report. When you selected two firm records with PRP in their names and generated the report, you received the following error message: "An error has occurred during report processing."


Defect 1381095: When you generated the Project List report and used the Projects - State/Province filter "MD - Maryland," the report also included projects that belonged to another state or province that was configured with the same abbreviation of "MD."


Defect 1382741: When you tried to generate a Project Audit report or Project Audit Detail report, the report took longer than usual to load and the generated report was blank.


Defect 1383783: When you ran the Resource Utilization by Organization report, it did not sort and group the projects correctly and included projects with no planned hours. This occurred when you set the following report options:


Defect 1385998: This issue applies if you logged in to Vantagepoint using the Francais (Canadian) language. When you tried to print a favorite report that was based on the Time Analysis report or Timesheet Audit report, you received the following error message: "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted). Query execution failed for dataset 'ReportDataset". (rsErrorExecutingCommand)....."


Defect 1386777: This issue occurred if you use English (International) when logging in to Vantagepoint. You received the following error message when you tried to run the Project Labour Export, Project Expenses Export, or Project List Export reports: "An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted). Query execution failed for dataset 'ReporDataset'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand). For more information about this error navigate to the report server on the local server machine, or enable remote errors."


Defect 1387910: Temporary tables with the format dbo.PlanToReportXXXXX were created when you generated reports but the tables were not deleted from the database. These tables accumulated over time, which increased the database size and caused performance issues.


Defect 1391009: This issue applied for favorite reports that are based on the general ledger Income Statement report. When you opened a saved search from the Organization field on the Options tab of report options, the New Search dialog box sometimes displayed the saved search with incomplete search parameters.


Defect 1392435: When you configured the Project Planning Monitor report and you selected a future fiscal year in the Budgets grid on the Options tab, you were unable to select the corresponding future periods in the Period Start field on the Columns & Groups tab for a custom field.


Defect 1393743: This issue applies if you use Google Chrome and on the General tab of the My Preferences dialog box you set the Date Format option to dd/MM/yyyy. When you generated the Cash Receipts report with a date range specified in the Time Frame Options section of the Options tab for the report, the report window displayed an error message instead of the report.


Defect 1402619: Hub reports would fail with an "Index was outside the bounds of the array" error. Also, the user-defined fields from the Overview tab of a hub were not available in the report options for grouping or sorting. This issue occurred if your security role did not have full access rights to all application tabs (specified on the Access Rights tab in Roles Security settings). This applied for all hub reports except the Equipment hub reports.

Defect 1359032: When you printed a Timesheet Audit Detail report for the period ending on the 31st of the month, the Overtime 2 (Ovt-2) value was not included in the report.


Payroll >> Payroll Payments


Defect 1334996: This issue occurred when you created a new payroll payment run, searched for employees using specific criteria, and selected the Apply All button on the Employee Search dialog box. When you reviewed the payment run, the search results contained all employees, including those that did not fit the criteria.


Proposals >> Templates


Defect 1389310: When you tried to resize an image in a proposal template in the Proposal Builder, you were not able to widen the image by dragging the left side or right side of the image. Instead of becoming wider, the image would scale up or down, as though you were dragging the corner of the image.


Purchasing


Defect 1375248: This issue occurred when you logged in using a language other than English, in the desktop application. When you created a new record on the following forms, the address-related fields on the Shipping tab were disabled:

Defect 1391170: In Purchasing » Purchase Orders in the desktop application, when you tried to submit a purchase order, you received a validation error message in French. This occurred even when you set the Language option to English on the login screen, in the Employees hub, and for alerts and messages in Approval Workflows.


QuickBooks Integration


Defect 1381066: Vendor and client records that you synchronized from QuickBooks to Vantagepoint were missing the client ID, client number, address, email, and phone number.


Resource Management >> Resource View


Defect 1403936: On the Resource View form, after you entered estimate-to-complete (ETC) hours on the WBS1 level assigned to an employee resource, the values were visible only on the lowest levels of the WBS, instead of all levels.


Search


Defect 1370310: When you generated an Employee List and used operators on the New Employee Search dialog box, the search results did not filter according to the search operators and parameters that you used.


Defect 1379579: This issue occurred when you ran an advanced search for the Contact List report in which you selected the Empty operator to filter the Contacts - Firm Country field (in the Search Criteria section). The Firm Country records were not excluded from the search results as they should have been and those records were displayed on the report.

Defect 1209917: If you created a new bank code with the Export to Text Format field set to User Defined and then selected the User Defined File Format tab on the Banks form, there were no options available to maximize or export the grid data.


Defect 1216974: If you created a new bank code with the Import Enabled field set to Yes and then selected the Import tab on the Banks form, when you selected the Type Mapping option under the Define Receipt/Payment field, the Type Mapping grid contained a field incorrectly labeled Vision Field.

Defect 1184694: When you copied account group names in the Summary Accounts Group grid on the Summary Groups tab, the account group names were converted to numerical values in the Detail Accounts Groups grid on the Detail Groups tab.

Defect 1361669: When you tried to save a new hub that you created in Screen Designer, a timeout error occurred that prevented you from saving your work.


Defect 1382178: In Settings » General » Screen Designer, the Default Search Field option was removed from the Field Settings dialog box. This option was previously used to make custom fields available as parameters for customized searches. The option is no longer needed because you can use all fields as search parameters when performing customized searches.

Defect 1365825: If you selected Suffix from the Field List and, on the Suffix Settings dialog box, you changed the order for suffix entries that contained more than 10 characters, you received an error message when you edited a Contact or Employee hub record that included a re-ordered suffix entry.


Defect 1379966: When you entered a value in the Code field on the Firm Relationship Settings dialog box, you were able to enter a value with more than 10 characters, but the value was shortened to 10 characters when you saved it. This occurred because, by design, the Code field is a 10-character field. The Code field no longer accepts values of more than 10 characters.


Defect 1392429: This issue applies for new Vantagepoint customers who created a new Vantagepoint database. It does not apply for Vantagepoint users who upgraded from Vision or DPS to Vantagepoint. The Project Probability list incorrectly had a list item with a zero (0) value. If you applied this probability to a project, you received an error when you tried to make changes to the project.

Defect 1364793: This issue applies if you had multiple alert rules set up for the Timesheet Due alert in Time Settings. On the Timesheet Due dialog box, when you modified the time in the Time of Day to Send Alert field for one alert rule, the same field in the other alert rules was also modified to a different time.

Defect 1368182: This issue occurred when, on the Column Change Configuration dialog box, you selected a value for the Column field, selected an employee name in the Value field, and saved the changes. When you opened the dialog box again, the Value field was shaded (grayed out) and you were not able to change the value in the field.


Defect 1386773: When you used the user defined numeric (Go No Go Average Ranking) field for a workflow condition, the field only allowed whole numbers even though it was set to allow two decimal places for percentage values.


Transaction Center >> AP Invoice Approvals


Defect 1332200: When an AP invoice approval workflow's current and next workflow step had the same approver, and the next workflow step was also configured to create the voucher upon approval, you received an error message when you approved the current step.

The automatic approval of the next step failed even when the Automatically Approve when Most Recent Approver is Same as Current Assignee option was enabled for the workflow (on the General tab of the Approvals Settings form in Settings » Workflow » Approval Workflow in the desktop application). Consequently, the approver had to approve the next workflow step and adjust the voucher control total in Transaction Center » Transaction Entry in order to process and post the voucher.


Defect 1377193: On the AP Invoice Approvals form, when you added a project in the Project Information grid, you were able to select phases and tasks in the Phase Name and Task Name fields that you did not set to be approved for use in processing on the Accounting tab in Hubs » Projects » Project.


Defect 1378572: When you displayed the AP Invoice Approvals form in list view, scrolled through the grid, and then selected an invoice to delete, you received a warning message saying that the action will delete a different invoice from another row that you did not select. The wrong invoice was then deleted when you clicked Delete.


Defect 1386469: In AP Invoice Approvals, when you uploaded an AP invoice, submitted it, and then suspended it, you received a “There is no row at Position 0“ error message. When you clicked OK on the error message box and then clicked Resume, the status incorrectly changed to Approved and the state incorrectly changed to Complete.

In addition, when you uploaded an AP invoice and saved it, clicked Other Actions » Voucher Options » Transaction Center Voucher Options, and then entered a voucher date and bank, the Save button was shaded (grayed out) and you could not save your changes.

Defect 1387469: When you approved an expense report in the Expense Report application, the expense report did not appear in the Time and Expense Posting form and you were not able to post it. If you were able to post the expense report and then printed it, duplicate entries appeared in the Transaction List.


Transaction Center >> Transaction Entry >> Cash Receipts


Defect 1385336: On the Cash Receipts form, when you tried to save a cash receipt transaction file after you modified line items in the Project Information grid, the save action locked and did not complete.


Defect 1388847: This issue occurred when you created a Cash Receipts transaction record and entered a mapped Accounts Receivable account in the Accounts field in the Project Information grid but did not enter an invoice. You did not receive an error message and you were able to save and post the transaction record.

Defect 1395510: When you clicked the Refresh button on the User Activity form (in Utilities » Analysis » User Activity of the desktop application), the form stopped responding. This occurred when there were a lot of records in the User Activity grid.

Defect 1381087: On the Accounts Mapping tab of the QuickBooks form, the mapped general ledger account from QuickBooks should have displayed directly in the QuickBooks Online Reference field. Instead, you had to click in the field for the account to display.

Defect 1367699: On the Convert Project's Organization form, when you tried to change a project's organization, you received the following error message: "Key Conversion of this projects' organization is not allowed since it is associated with assets. All associated assets must be transferred to other projects before this action will be allowed.

Defect 1377854: When you scheduled a job to submit reports through the process server, the process record stayed in the Running state for a long time and eventually failed.

Defect 1392240: Refresh Billing Extensions calculated the overtime billing rate incorrectly when an overtime multiplier was used for labor (set up in a project's billing terms).


Utilities >> Updates >> Search and Replace


Defect 1114074: When you searched for the Secondary field from the Billing Terms application and set the Update Method field to Value, the Value drop-down field did not display any options. You also could not enter a value that would update the Secondary field.


Defect 1394068: When you used the Search and Replace utility to replace the value in a user-defined hub field with a drop-down list selection, the drop-down list selection was incorrectly formatted as characters.
