Welcome to the Deltek Vantagepoint 3.0.3.3 Release Notes, which describe the new features and enhancements introduced in this release.
These release notes address all of the modules associated with Deltek Vantagepoint 3.0, some of which your firm may not use. Skip the sections that do not apply to your implementation of Deltek Vantagepoint.
Defect 1271345: This issue occurred when you tried to add or modify a transaction on the Labor tab in Interactive Billing. On the Billing Labor Modify dialog box, you should have been able to enter a custom labor category that had not been added to the Labor Category list in Settings » Labels and Lists » Lists, but had been added to a billing labor category table in Settings » Rate Tables » Billing Labor Categories.
The following changes were made to the Billing Labor Modify dialog box:
The category code now displays in the Category field, instead of the category description.
A new Category Description field was added. It prefills with the description for the category code selected from the Category field drop-down list if the category was entered in Settings » Labels and Lists » Lists. If the category was added to a billing labor category table in Settings » Rate Tables » Billing Labor Categories and typed into the Category field, no description prefills in the Category Description field.
Defect 1281485: In Interactive Billing, a finalized invoice did not open automatically as expected when you completed the following in Interactive Billing:
You assigned a specific number to the invoice (Other Actions » Assign Invoice Number).
You downloaded the invoice for editing, edited it as an RTF file, and saved it as a PDF file (Other Actions » Download for Editing).
You uploaded the invoice to Vantagepoint as a PDF file (Other Actions » Upload Invoice).
You accepted the invoice.
Although the invoice did not open as expected, it was correctly saved to the Invoice History tab, in the PDF format.
Defect 1270191: This issue occurred if you made the Project Manager field in the Projects hub a required field. In Billing Terms, you received a "Please provide a Project Manager for the table BT" error when you did the following:
On the Billing Terms form, you clicked + Add Billing Terms to create new billing terms for a project.
On the Add Billing Terms dialog box, you set the Create Billing Terms field to Manually and then clicked Add.
On the Billing Terms form, you clicked Save without making any entries on the form or any of the tabs.
Defect 1283026: In Hubs » Projects » Plan, the ETC Cost/Billing field was incorrect on the Expenses and Consultants tabs of the Plan form. The ETC Planned Cost/Billing fields were also incorrect in the Expenses and Consultants rows on the Project Review form, in Hubs » Projects » Project Review.
Defect 1270193: If you displayed the Billing Terms Review dashpart in a dashboard, the dashpart data did not display for firms with large databases.
Defect 1269093: In Expense Report, when you clicked Custom in the list in the search field, the Custom Search dialog box displayed, but it was blank and unresponsive.
Defect 1270192: In Resource View, when you searched for an organization in the Organization Name field, you received an "Invalid column name 'Organization'" error.
Defect 1270190: On the Integrations Manager form, when you tried to modify an integration in the grid, you received a console error.
